#654 – Playing with Giants

Playing with Giants
I have no idea what kind of game they’re playing that the score gan be so lopsided…

Playing with Giants

A week ago, or maybe more
some giants knocked upon my door.
One said, “Hello, my name is Gus.
Come play a tennis game with us.”
I stared in awe, and sheer surprise
at giants there before my eyes.
I don’t know why I chose to say
that I, of course, would love to play.
It was a silly thing to do,
for now by body’s black and blue.
I wouldn’t have agreed at all
if I had know I’d be the ball.

Thursdays are dog days!
