On the way back from swimming lessons last night, Andrew asked, “Do you know a lot about a lot of stuff?”
I do have a pretty big knowledge of trivia, actually. So, I said, “Yes, I do.”
The next thing Andrew asked, “Can Praying Mantises hop?”
“Yes they can,” I replied, having seen one do so. “They can also fly.”
He dropped the subject after that, but it inspired the doodle despite Thursdays typically being a dog day. He didn’t make the connection, though, and said to me later that he liked the robot ants.
