Every last book
I want to read every last book;
each letter, each number, each mark.
I’ll rise with a yawn and start before dawn,
then read all day long until dark.I want to read every last book,
digesting each line they contain.
I’ll start with page one, and when I am done
I’ll go back and read them again.I want to read every last book
inspecting each page that I see.
It may take some time, but won’t cost a dime…
the library lends them for free.I want to read every last book
and run through each word that they say.
It should be some fun! So far I’ve read none.
I guess I should start right away.
